Re: Wanda and all Re: Allergy to meds, etc. From: Wanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Apr 22 16:34:22 2002
Dear Anonymous, My allergic symptoms to ASA (aspirin), ibuprofen, and naproxen are severe chest pain, my Asthma sets off, my throat starts to close up and I feel like I am having a heart attack. I have found out that most people with Asthma are allergic to these NSAID's. I wish I could take them, because I get so tired of taking narcotics. Sulfur...I am honestly not sure about. I have had 2 allergy skin tests. But they were for more things like pollen, dog and cat dander, and things like that. I have tried homeopathy with my Asthma. It has seemed to decrease the Asthma symptoms. I can drink coffee, tea, and soda with no problem. I have also been told my allergist that these help me with the Asthma. You have wonderful questions and I will present them to my allergist next time I see him! Angel Hugs, Wanda
