Polycystic Ovaries and Infertility - Diagnosis? (Long)

I'm 25 and have just been diagnosed with PCOS. Last november through an stomach ultrasound the technologist casually detected a cyst in my right ovary (at that time it was 5.5 cms), I got some follow up pelvic ultrasounds done and they showed the cyst had reduce its size to 3.5cm (I wasn't prescribed anything). In my last pelvic ultrasound they did a vaginal ultrasound as well (the first ever) and found 12 more cysts (aprox. 2.2cm each) on the left ovary and 10 (aprox. 2 cms as well) on the right plus the one I had from before (now 3.5 cm). My gyno prescribed me "Marvelon 21" which are anticonceptive pills. And ask me to get a follow up ultrasound in FIVE months (my next appointment is in 6 months)!. For all I have read it seems I could face infertility. Is there a way to get a diagnosis on this?. How should I ask for it to my family doctor?. If I wait any longer could it be worse?. Six months ago I just have ONE cyst and my family doctor recommend me to forget about as it would probably just dissapear on its own, which have proved wrong. I'm worry that "forgeting about it" as he stills recommends me can cause me more troubles on the future. Any suggestions on how to go about this? By the way, I don't have the other symptoms I have read about: overweight, excessive hair or dark skin patches. Thanks a million in advance.
