Hi hun, I just wanted to let you know my thoughts are with you. I am not sure what will tell you will happen in the future since I do not know your exact circumstances and I am not a doctor (yet). Good luck though. I have had 2 laps, one at 16 and one at 19, and I made it through them, still unsure what my future holds. GOOD LUCK! *HUGS* ~ANA

Hi, I'm 18 and am going for a diagnostic laparoscopy tomorrow morning. I am simply terrified. I have so many questions that I have tonight (must be my nervousness!!). I've had severe, severe pain with my periods for at least 6 years, I finally went to the doctor about a year or so ago, and he put me on the pill. This made my pain subside for a few months, but it came back. I then went to the Gyn, and he put me on a new pill, which made my pain much worse, and my periods to last for up to 4 weeks. This was in December. I now have diag. lap. tomorrow. I want to prepare myself for what I will be dealing with in the future. I'm not really sure if this is the way to go, but I thougt I'd give it a try. Thanks a lot gals.
