Hi Abby, I'm 34 and have had 6 big lung collapses on either the first or second day of my period.(you know, chest drain etc.) in the past 2 years. Like you drs are non. commital and just say endo of the lung is v. rare, but the more I read on the net the more I think that perhaps it is more common than they are aware of.I am awaiting a pleurectomy op.at Barts. (for 18 months so far)they strip the smooth pleura from the lung, is this similar to your ops? I was not offered a consultation with a gyny. dr., but I've asked my G.P. to refer me, I'm currently taking no medication, and dreading my period in case my lung goes down again. I hope the new drug works for you, I haven't heard anything about it, how does it work? does it mimick pregnancy? I'll message you again as and when things start happening for me, its so frustrating, I can't work full time as no will employ me, due to the probable endo. It feels like I'm on a conveyor belt, I haven't had a chance to ask questions about the op, and it's only because my mother and her sister both had endo, that I made the connection. My lung surgeon knows 'very little about it' in his words! It is heartening to find that I'm not alone. Thankyou for sharing your experiences, good luck with the next treatment, sarahx
