QuestionsFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Mar 27 18:31:58 2002
I have been treated for one year with Inflammetory Bowel Disease, and almost a year to the day the figured out that my biopsies were read wrong and I had no sign of IBD. In the last year I have been rushed to the hospital twice because doctors thought I was having an appendicitis attack - i was not. I have done some research and am realizing I have many endo symptoms like: VERY bad Pelvic pain - mostly right sided however it happpens to the left too, dirreah and constipation (Mucus), fatigue, headaches, hip pain, sore after sex, lack of sex drive. I went on the pill 4 years ago, however before then I had very long (10 day)and heavy periods. Now, even though I am on the pill, I always have clots for all 5 days of my period. I want to go to my doctor but I am afraid as it took 2 years to see a specialist the first time and then they were wrong and treated me for a year with strong meds for no reason. I am only 23 and my husband and I want to have kids - this has been going on for 4 years... I don't know what to do. Thank-you for all your help, Bonnie
