Antidepressants and decongestants

Hello everyone, For those on antidepressants or MAO inhibitors. Do not take decongestants. I know many of us are taking antidepressants. We can't help the depression which comes with endo. I suffer from recurring sinus problems. Oddly enough, there are a few women I know with endo who have sinus problems stemming from nasal polyps. Another place for endo to create havoc, like we meed more. I called my pharmacist this morning since I woke up with a massive sinus headache and congestion. I asked her if I could take Sinutab since I'm on Effexor. There are indications on the package to check first. She said no because there are some undesirable side effect, not dangerous but undesirable, including heart palpitations and concentration and memory problems. She said to use saline solutions only, I prepare my own sea salt solution..It's great, and to use Otrivin if it really hurts and to take only Tylenol for pain. Do not take any oral decongestants.
