Hello everyone! Well, if you are in this forum you are probally not doing too great huh. Well, I can maybe shed a little light on a few things that I am going through. Well, I have had endo. for 14 years. I have had 4 laps, been on every type and mg birth control pill ever made, was given depro, and now I am on lupron. I took my second shot yesterday and the side effects are certainly there. It seems that a restful night sleep is out of the question (not that i can even remember having one of those) O.k. I am sweating my butt off right now, but 5 minutes earlier I was freezing my butt off. The hot flashes and night sweats are just unbearable. I am what they call clinical menapause. Lord help me. Now I really don't know how long it takes to fully be in your systtem, but actually it is helping me somewhat. The pains from the endo are not as bad, I have a little more energy than before (even without getting proper sleep)I don't think that the mood swings have hit me too hard yet, but i can definitely sometimes feel it coming on. I do cry at the drop of a hat, but I am a softy. So far , the worst thing happening to me is the night sweats, hot flashes and constipation. I still have pain but nowhere near what it was. I am 28 years old with no children because of the endo. I am a pretty bad case, so I figured if it can give me some relief, maybe I can inform others that it's a good thing. Now one thing is very important for all women who are being treated is to buy some calcium pills with vitamin D in it. This is very important to avoid bone loss. Also, try not taking correctal or those harsh laxatives. Stick with some good natural fiber pills. It will take a little longer to work, but give it a week and you will be surprised. Well God Bless and I hope that I have helped at least one of many who are suffering and need some answers. Good Luck, Angel At Sat, 22 Sep 2001, Nikki wrote: >
