Help i am so confused - last June i had extensive laser surgery and was put onto a 6 month course of Zoladex. My last injection was in October 2001. I felt great whilst on the injections (apart from the sweats etc). My first period was on Christmas Day which was painful but not too bad, my second in January was ok but then my third in Feb and subsequent ovulations and March period have been hell. I have never been in so much pain, unable to stand, sit, lie down, crying etc. I feel like my right hand side is going to explode and is burning so much. The pressure in my back passage and bowels is immense and causing me problems. I am not losing very much blood during my periods. Before surgery last year my periods were fine and i experienced more pain at other times of the month. What is happening to me? All i know is that if it gets much worse i will pass out and this scares me - i am so nauseous with the pain. I went to see my Consultant on 4th March and was told to go away and think about three options, have the mirena coil fitted, have a full hyst. or have nothing and end up getting worse and having surg at some point anyway!! I was so upset, as i was told that the laser surg and Zoladex were the two best treatments around and that i would be fine for at least 12 months when i had finished the course. Now i am far worse than i have ever been. I am due to see him again in June. Has anyone else had this - been far worse after treatment? I want to be left alone and get off this merry go round i am on. I want the old me back - i can still remember what she was like and she was a much nicer person than the one i am now. I am desparate and apologise for ranting on - it is affecting all aspects of my life now and i am so low. I don't know how much more of this pain i can stand, i'm not a wimp but feel like one at the moment. Thanks for reading this and hope everyone is ok and not suffering too much.
