Please vicki, do what ever you can to stay away from Lupron - it is nothing but horrible. And I would agree with your dr. about not doing the hyst. ONLY because often it doesn't help the symptoms AND you are 26 and should not have to be going through menapause. There are a number of places for you to get more information...This is a great place to start, but call the endometriosis Association in Milwaukee (414-355-2200) and ask them to send you their materials ASAP BEFOR YOU MAKE ANY DECISIONS. They are a non profit whose only mission is to get info out to sufferers (I got their materials yesterday and there is a book and articles that look great - if anyone has ordered them let me know if they helped...) Also, there is a lot going on about Natural Progesterone (search this site for it) and work in Australia. Keep doing your research - the most positive stories I have found have involved change in diet and exercise - almost miraculous stories. hang in there! hugs, amy
