Re: New - Just DiagnosedFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: HEATHER (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Mar 2 21:10:58 2002
Liss, I've had two laporoscopies. Of course you know they cut you open by your bellybutton. They put a scope in the incision and look around. My doctor also took a biopsy off my uterus to make sure it was endo. I really don't know why your doctor would say your too young, I was 16 when I was diagnosed. My doctor also told me how bad I had it: there's moderate, mild and severe. I haven't tried to conceive yet, but my last lap, which was just 3 days before yours, showed no signs of endo. The doctor even put dye in my uterus to make sure the tubes were open, and they are!! If you continue to not conceive, you may want to see a gyn that specializes in fertility, that's the kind of doctor that diagnosed mine.
