I have also been on amitryptaline for chronic pain. My new Gyn took me off
of it. I was like a zombie everyday. I would take it in the morning after
the kids left for school. I was knocked out from 8:30 until 12pm. IT was
awful. I was incoherent for a few hours after waking up!!
You may have adhesions or possible nerve damage. I was having pain on my
left side that would not stop. We tried the amitryptaline and surgery. That
didn't help. I went to see my new GYN whom stated that I may have nerve
damage from the surgeries......I am seeing a pain specialist that has taking
care of the pain!!!
Hope you are pain free soon!!
Hugs,
Wanda
