I have had 2 laps and each time it took me about a week before I was back to work. You may want to stop at the drug store before you go and talk to the pharmacist my aunt bought me this support pillow thing that I pressed to my belly when sitting up it helped SOOOO much. If you don't want to do that a blanked folded up offers the same relief. Good Luck to you and think of it like this a week or two of discomfort for a possible 6-8 months or with some women years of help with the pain Endo can cause.
