Re: first lap next week - what to expect?

I've had three laps, and am in the process of scheduling the fourth (damn it), and some docs say you can be back at work 3 days after surgery. I usually have had to take a week to 10 days, but everyone's different. After my first lap, the nurse told me it took her a month to feel better after hers!

But it's not a horribly painful deal, and you'll definitely be back on your feet pretty quickly. I hope you have nice friends and family who can cook, because I know I did NOT want to be making meals, standing up in the kitchen, while I was recovering. Good luck, Jen G.
