am I nutsFrom: Jo (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Feb 28 13:54:40 2002
Hi all I am not new but haven't posted in 9 months or so. I was diagnosed with Endo 11 years ago I have been through at least 10 DR's and thought I found one that really listens. I have been having a sever pain in my right abdominal area. I went to the Dr and he did some testing and said that it is a muscle that is having spasms causing the pain. He then put me on amitriptylne an anti depressant that is also used for chronic pain. Due to the face that I am not depressed it knocks me out sure I don't hurt that I know of because I am in a coma like state 30 min. after I take it. I am sure many of you know that routine. Any how I have noticed when I have a bowel movement that the same place where the pain comes and goes almost feels like it is being pulled on from the inside. The Dr doesn't feel there is any connection with the muscle pain and the endo. Somehow I am not convinced. Anyone else have anything like this happen or any suggestions........ Thanks ladies
