Hi Brandy,
My name is Tracy. I am an R.N. in operating rooms and I am a sufferer
of endo...I have been very miserable. I had my operative Laparoscopy
about 10 days ago. In the recovery room, my GYN called me and told me
that I had endo. I asked him where it was... He stated that it was on
my left ovary, surface of my uterus and in the cul-de-sac. During my 2
week follow up, he showed my the laparoscopic photos of my endo. Being
knowledgeable about endoscopic photos and anatomy, I noted some endo on
the other ovary and my fallopian tube. At that time I asked him about
that.... He said "yes, it was on both ovaries, fallopian tube, surface
of uterus and in the cul-de-sac. Technically he lied to me. So, all I
know is the endo is everywhere. I do not think that that would've
changed my course of post-operative therapy of LUPRON. I will be
starting the Lupron in about 1 week. I know how you feel regarding not
being told the entire truth. It was right that you requested your
records. You have every right to your records. Good luck.
