Nadia,

It is hard to say what it is exactly. I am not a dr or medical professional. But to scrape the endometroium is not harmful. Any invasive procedure risks infection. I know that I have had several infection from laproscopy's but when treated with the proper medicine, a person can be just fine.

Has your mother had this problem before??? Her best bet may be a GYN specialized in problems like this. I don't know where to begin to tell you where to start. Your mother should have gone through menopause already. Maybe not.... It would be best to consult a GYN~~~

Hope this helps and I wish you both the best of luck!

Hugs, Wanda
