wanting a babyFrom: lisa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Feb 27 00:20:39 2002
Geez, you know how heartache it is to want to have a baby and knowing at that moment, you cant? I am blessed to have a two-year old daughter. She is very precious to me(when she was 5 months old, she had to have a trach put in to help her breath..its out now!:) ) but i have been thinking alot about it and i know that being pregnant is a short-term cure for endo. My only problem now...not having the money to support it!!!! I dont want to bring a baby into this world and not be able to give it what it needs, and on top of that, the stuff im going through....but geezzzz...i want one soooooo bad! I know how hard it is for some woman to get pregnant, and i dont know if i will ever have children again..and i feel soooo sad. I just want to know what its like to raise a "normal baby". I didnt get to hear my daughter laught until she was 26 months old. You know how heart wrenching that is? Anywho, here i am straying from the subject...i was wondering your opinion on this: how likely do you think i am to have another child in about 6-9 months with having endo since I was 13 years old? I will ask my doctor when i go to him thursday, but i just want to know your opinions..my doctor seems a bit of a "quack" and I KNOW you know what im talking about...all of you have experienced one in your life of endo im sure!!! well, please write back....i enjoy meeting new people who share this terrible disease(not that we have it, but knowing that we all have something in common,"living life the best we can".) and being able to share with each other what are our thoughts are... peace to all and God bless.
