Chronic PainFrom: lisa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Feb 24 21:26:43 2002
Hi again....today has been a bad day for me. I have been having pain in my tailbone area and pelvic bone area around my vagina. I dont know if this is part of the endo. I have been having it off and on, and I thought the pain around my vagina was maybe caused by some of the jeans I wear. Some of them, when I sit, are kinda tight right there so i thought it was that causing it. But today I was wearing loose jeans and the pain was on going all day. I was hoping someone may have some ideas or answers to this. I visit one of my OBs on tuesday and I plan on asking her. I am just soooo tired of all the pain, I am about to give up..because of the fact there is no real cure. My doctor told me tht if the surgery doesnt work, then I would have to "learn to live with it!" Nice doctor hu?? Thats one reason Im going to see another one on tuesday before my surgery to see what she says. She has done and ultrasound on me, (which my regular ob has never done!) and I hope it shows that i am not lying about the pain. Im just afraid when they go in to do the surgery, they are not going to find anything, and they think im crazy or "making it all up", which is what i feel like now sometimes. But if anyone has any comments they would like to share, I am open to anything. If anyone lives in the Wichita, Ks area and know of a GOOD ob, or someone who specialilizes in endo, let me before so i can find out if there is a different plan or treatment other then what he has prescribed. well, thats all for now. I hope to hear from all of you. Good luck and God bless.
