I was diagonised with endo about 2 years ago when i had a miscarriage and had to have a d&c because my body would not pass it. I had to have two of them because the first doctor did not get it all out. Anyhow, when they did the second one, i got blood trapped on my abdomin. One of the doctors suggested that they go do a laposcope and see whats wrong. Thats when they found the endo and removed a quarter sized tissue off my uterus. The doctor then put me on birth control pills for about 3 weeks and decided to put me on depo prevera. I was on it for about 9 months, 4 of those months was bleeding the whole time. I went to him to tell him about the pain i was having (very painful) and he asked if i wanted to try the lupron therapy. I said i would give it a shot of 3 months (which he told me was usually long enough to notice a difference). I was put on the shot for 6 months with no real results. I t helped with the pain somewhat, but not completely. I have been on lortab 5s for about a year now and i feel like the doctors think im druggie or something (gotta tell ya, ive been for surgery from day one b/c it helped the first time!) Anywho, I stopped the lupron shot about 4 months ago and am now back on the provera shot..and the pain is becoming more and more uncomfortable. I went to the doctor last thursday to talk about it. He told me he would have to check with his other doctor because he wants a reproductive doc in there as well. Now i am set to have another lap on March 12..and i hope it helps with the pain because i am tired of living like this...theres not a day that goes by that i dont have pain and need to take pain killers. So, I hope some of you have some words of encouragement for me, or just want to share your stories as well. I just wish the medical science field would have discovered something that would cure it all together. Thanks for listening
-- Lisa
