Andrea I was 22 when I had my lap done last July. I had it done on thursday and I was back to work on Saturday. You will be real sorrow the day of the surgery but its a lot better the next day. My advice is to stay laying down the day of the surgery. If you sit up a lot, the gas that they put in your stomach will move up into your shoulders. You will feel like you are having a heart attack.
