Carol, I understand your feelings about sharing the joy of raising a child but you need to look at more than how good this would make you and the other couple feel. You need to see this through the eyes of your child. He/she will see you spend 9 months carrying a baby and then see you GIVE THAT BABY AWAY! How will that make your child feel? Expendable maybe? Like you could give him/her away also? You really need to consider this! Also, carrying a child changes a part of your focus away from your child and puts your health at risk. What would happen to your child if you have serious medical problems, or worse, with another pregnancy? There are many children in need of good homes through adoption. Why risk the security and health of your family? Take care and good luck with your decision, whatever it turns out to be. BJ
