However, I had extreme low back pain pevious to seeing him. My back pain sounds just like yours. It is so aweful that I haven't been able to find words to explaine it! Ever since I started taking motrin it has gone away though. That is the only thing that has worked for me. I have not had a lap. To be quite honest, I am new to all of this. I just went to the doctor. He didn't say anything about a lap (I don't even know what that is!). He just gave me some motrin and put me on the pill. Maybe you should ask your doctor about taking the motrin. It is called ANAPROX DS (it's for pain and inflamation). I hope you feel better soon. I know how bad the back pain can be. Take care, Bethany
