Over 6 years I had seven laps, yes, the endo recurs in other places where it might have been microscopic during the previous lap. I had a hysterectomy 7 weeks ago. I know it is not a cure for endo, but at least it slows down things a bit, and those periods are gone. The pain is much less. My doctor says if I am lucky I may get away with a lap every three years or so until menopause, and then the endo may die off if I don't take HRT. So we are working towards this. Endo is a devastating disease, and doesn't only affect you, but your whole family. I hope that you find the right treatment for you. If you want to chat more you can get me at laurenr@lantic.net.
