Re: Extreme Lowe Back Pain!From: Amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Feb 7 21:50:30 2002
Beth, Hiya hon. I have back pain similiar to yours. I used to only have it during my periods, but it is all the time now. Honestly hon, having endo will change your life completely. There is no cure for it and some of the treatments are worse than the disease itself to some women. Yes, endometriosis can cause infertility. The most important thing right now is to find out if you really have endometriosis. The only way to do this is to have a laproscopy. It's a fairly simple procedure, you get out of the hospital in the same day if there are no complications. You need to be careful with the birth control pills. Sometimes they will actually make the endo worse. If you have any changes in symptoms, call your dr. There are so many things to learn about this disease when you are first diagnosed. I would be more than happy to help you in any way that I can. If you need anything, feel free to email me privately at endogirl78@yahoo.com Take care and God Bless, Amanda
