I don't have those letters and essays anymore, however, and Tina has disappeared (sickish, I think). Anyway, also at that time, we composed a letter to Oprah and got about a million signatures on it, and she NEVER RESPONDED. I'm an editor, and I would love to get back into an essay collection, but I don't have the financial resources to publish anything. Anyone have an idea about this? There's power in numbers; perhaps someone could contact the Endometriosis Association? Also, Oprah's cable network, Oxygen, might be a good candidate for endo publicity. They also have a documentary series called "As she sees it," which I think could really be powerful if women were interviewed on camera about their endo experiences; it could include a woman going into a lap, and what's involved with that. Go ahead and email me if you have ideas pilotslove@yahoo.com, or post them here, too, whatev is easiest. I'm super excited about the possibility of getting connected with endo sisters to increase awareness and improve treatment for this insipid disease. Jen G.
