Re: End.laparoscopy, & Depot LupronFrom: lolinda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Feb 4 19:31:54 2002
Hi Amy! I had the injections for three months and they were rather a very three odd months for me. I had hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and headaches. I felt kinda out of it and not really myself. I will *NOT* go on Lupron again because of the one of the worse side effects that I did not and was not told about...bone loss. Lupron will cause your bones to begin to shrink if your on it too long. I was able to get pregnant five months after the last injection. I did have a period while I was on the injections and it took about two months after the last injection to finally have a period...but it wasn't painful until about right before I concieved my daughter. There are a lot of benefits to being on the lupron but a lot more problems with being on it. Your going to have to choose what's right for you. Some women have little side effects but the main one still is there bone loss. Hope I was of some help....oh a really good book to get is" Endometriosis the source book" Good luck! ~hugs~ lolinda
