sorry I am late in responding...

A hystorectomy does not guarntee no pain from Endo. Estrogen is the fuel to the fire, so to speak, for Endo. My advice and that is all that it is.....Find another Dr...maybe someone that is an expert with Endo... If that is not feasible....

There are other treatments...such as Depo-Provera, Lupron, Continous BCP's. You have a number of options...Everyone body is diffrent and no one reacts the same way to a treatment. You may want to do some reasearch on your own!! That way when you see the Dr....you are educated as well. A good place to start is a book called Endometriosis; A sourcebook. And the Endometriosis Association.

Hugs, Wanda
