I am writing this because i just feel the need to get things off my chest as i am feeling desparate!! After years of endo pain, in June this year i had extensive laser surgery where it was found that i had many organs stuck together etc, etc. I was then put on a six month course of Zoladex injections. I suffered horrendous side effects, but was determined to get to the end of the course. My Consultant said he didn't want me to have ad back treatment because he said it would encourage the endo sites left to grow!! He wanted my system to completely "shut down". I continued with the course of injections and had my last one on 19th October. Three weeks ago all my bowel problems returned, i.e. constipation, diarrhea, bloating, cramps etc. and two weeks ago i had really bad pains whilst at work which i thought were ovulation pains, how right was i? because on Christmas Day i started my first period for over six months and it has been hell. Pain as before. Please where do i go now! I was hoping for a few months of feeling 'normal'. I have spent the last two days laid up. I don't go back to see my Gyn until March next year and at the moment i can't see much of a future. I have already lost it and felt like i was having a breakdown yesterday.
