I have been on depo for about 7 months now. It has helped with my pain but there are side effects. I have gained a few pounds (for some reason I crave cheese and chocolate!) and I am not as easy going as before. I should wear a sign that says "approach with caution"! It also has given me a mild case of anxiety. My doctor put me on a low dose of buspar and that has helped the anxiety. I do feel better pain wise and that is very important. Right now that is more important to me than being named the mean girl in marketing (I think they use a word that rhymes with witch...lol). Depo has been much more effective for me than lupron. The side effects are not nearly as bad and the pain level is much lower.

Sorry for rambling on! If you have any specific questions, please feel free to email me (raeedd@mediaone.net).
