Re: Had Laparoscopy Done!From: Samantha (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Dec 22 14:16:15 2001
OMG! I hope you feel better soon Lauren sounds like you have gone through alot recently. Snap! with the hospital stuff yes, I do understand completely and no you're not silly. I couldn't get my ex boyfriend into the op theatre they just wouldn't allow it so I had to brave it myself. I have a letter from a pyschologist which states if I am kept waiting too long before procedures/appts then my anxiety gets unbearable and I have been known to cancel these. This enabled me to go first that day. I hope you feel real better soon Merry Christmas and a Healthier New Year Take Care ((((HUGS)))) Love Samantha :) At Fri, 21 Dec 2001, Lauren wrote: > >Hi Samantha, >I am recovering from a hysterectomy, sub total with rso, plus apendectomy, >that was done on the 5th Dec, I am doing very well. >So sorry that you had such a yucky experience. My heart goes out to you. >I was pleased to hear however that I am not the only one that is afraid of >needles and doctors and hospitals etc. I am so bad that I only stayed in >hospital two nights, and then signed myself out of hospital. >I HATE the whole hospital thing sooooo much. >It is so bad that my doctor and therapist arrange for my husband to be with >me, even in theatre up till I get my anasthetic.
