Greg, Lupron can cause hot flashes, mood swings, and some of the other things you listed in some of the women who take this. That is also why when a woman does it for 6 months it is not uncommon to start on what is called addback therapy. What this means is that a little bit of estrogen is given back. The dosage of the estrogen is small enough to take care of the menopausal side effects while giving the drug a chance to try and help shrink the endo. I just finished one similar to this and did the estrogen therapy. I did the addback right from the start b/c I also have osteoarthritis.
