Update Been To Hospital TodayFrom: Samantha (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Dec 21 13:27:01 2001
Hi Everyone, Firstly big thanks to those of you who responded to my posting, thankyou for your healing wishes and support much appreciated THANK YOU! :)))) Today I went to the hospital for the Consultant to check me over he was happy with what he saw so looks like touch wood no need for a 2nd op Phew! He did an msu as I have pain in my bladder part way through going to the toilet, waiting for the results. He told the Nurse to remove my disolvable stitches which she tried her best to do, it was agony, she said they were very tight and joked they had been double knotted! Part of one just refused to budge so she's left it behind for it to dissolve of it's own accord. Another agonising experience! Hopefully my belly button will heal up now faster, I've put some antiseptic cream on which has a local anasethic in it and a dressing over the top to stop my clothes rubbing it. It's very sore, looks like someone tried to pierce my belly button the wrong way round left to right instead of top to bottom! Anyway hopefully now I'm on the home straight now and looking forward to Christmas Day! Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year Best Wishes Samantha :)
