Mild endo - can it cause infertility?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Dec 20 07:10:47 2001
Hello, I have been ttc for 2 years now with no success. I had a lap done last week to check for endo. The RE found and removed mild endo on the ovaries, and a polyp in the uterus. I wasn't thrilled with her findings, because I was actually hoping to find a lot of endo (although I've never had any symptoms). I figured a lot of endo would help to explain our infertility. Does anyone know whether mild endo can actually be a cause of infertility? I've read conflicting results on the web, where some doctors say yes even mild endo is enough to cause infertility problems, and I've read other reports that say that it needs to be moderate to severe to really interfere and that people with mild enod should not have a problem conceiving. Also, what about the polyp? Could that have been causing us problems as well? Thanks!
