Now, I have another question. I have a strong feeling that I indeed do have endometriosis. A lot of people have suggested it, and it runs in my family. I ended up in the urgent care recently because I was in a tremedous amount of pain. The Dr. believes this may be due to a cyst, but he did not do an ultrasound to confirm. What should I expect when I go to the ob-gyn? Are they quick to put you under the knife, or do they usually try other treatments first? Will they try to rule out other conditions as well? Also, how many of you have hormonal disturbances? I feel as if my hormones are going crazy, literally. I'm a bit scared of what they doctor may or may not do! I don't want to have a laporoscopy, but I will if it's absolutely necessary. I'm a bit scared as I'm only 22! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks again girls.
