Re: Future outlook after Zoladex

Hi everyone, Just to put my 2 cents in about Zoladex. I was on the drug for 3 months (with add-back oestrogen which thankfully made the hot flushes etc pretty mild) so that I could have my endo removed at surgery. Since I had my last lap in October, I've been pretty much pain-free (yay!). It took about 3 months for me to have a period - I got paranoid that I'd entered early menopause at the age of 30 - couldn't believe i was looking foward to getting my period! My cycle's been pretty strange since - either from the Zoladex, the surgery, and now i've gone on continuous BCPs. The main thing I found about Zoladex was it made me really vague and fuzzy-thinking, which was difficult for my study and work, not to mention just the day to day tasks (remembering shopping lists etc)! But that too went away a couple of months after finishing the Zoladex. HOpe the treatment works well for you, Cheers, Kate At Sun, 16 Dec 2001, Annette wrote: >
