Hi All, esp charity, your hyst is booked for my daughters 13th birthday, which was 3 days ago. Today I am 10 days past sub total hyst with right ovary out and apendectomy, I feel bruised and battered, but I have been back at work for at least two hours a day since day 4, and stopped taking pain meds on day five or six (can't remember) It is really no worse than a period. Today I was at work almost the whole morning, and day before yesterday I went grocery shopping. I am feeling physically better each day. My emotions are getting the better of me though, the BABY thing, but I thank God that I have Three healthy children aged 13, 9 and two, and trust that this too will pass. (SOON PLEASE !!) I hope that you do as well ((((HUGS)))) & Blessings LAUREN

I'm 38 (3 kids)& I had a TAH w/BSO and I don't regret it. I am on ERT because the hot flashes, night sweats & insomnia were killing me faster than the endo was. I am not on a high dose, and I do take calcium supplements.(important)Once in awhile I have mild discomfort, but nothing like it was before.Rachael is right, only you can decide what is right for you.Good luck & take care. > >>At Tue, 14 Aug 2001, Lauren wrote:
