I am on ERT because the hot flashes, night sweats & insomnia were killing me faster than the endo was. I am not on a high dose, and I do take calcium supplements.(important)Once in awhile I have mild discomfort, but nothing like it was before.Rachael is right, only you can decide what is right for you.Good luck & take care.

I have had years of problems and I am currently on the Lupron shots.I also go to School and keep thinking I am loosing my mind because I can not remember the smallest things or even what I have studied the nite before I was courious where you learned of the side effects of the lupron shot. It sure explains my abset mindedness lately I myself have not been a big fan of the shot I am going in for a hysterectomy in four days I hope its the answer because after 11 years of tubal scrapings and meds that don't work the sergery is my last option. I have been blessed with a 12 year old son and a 8 year old daughter(my miracle) I could not ask for anything else Good luck to all of you ... >
