Endo & High blood sugar? (not diabetic)

I am curious what to think of my extreme fluctuations in blood sugar lately. After I eat breakfast and lunch (typically either high in protein or at least 50/50 and carbs are veg/fruit, not sugar) I spike to the 180s. I then either hover in the 140s for a couple of hours or drop to the 100 range within half an hour. It leaves me exhausted and yawning non-stop, not to mention cotton-mouthed. I have Endometriosis and the neurologist I saw for my period migraines recommended an endocrinologist, as I'm having periods for up to 3 weeks/month even on the pill. Now, I'm wondering if its not ALL related. Should I be concerned in the 180s? Is there a connection and what would treatment possibly involve?
