Dear Netti, I am 34 in the meanwhile and have had a few surgeries after the past 12 years and I had always a follow up hormon therapy. For my personal experiance I have to say I was , after endo was removed and the follow up painfree each time for about a year to (after Zoladex) nearly two years. It doesn't mean I had no problems at all - like I got a few cysts (and they hurted some bit)- but as those where diagnosed clear cysts we could ignore them and the pain where not too bad as well.(nothing comparasing the constant endo pains) For the follow up after Zpladex it really depense on try and what you want - if you want to try for getting pregnant or not. Otherwise you can go many way from here , e.g. part time or constant Progesterone , Gestangene , even for continious BCP (if there are no other contraindications) .Or you might prfer a coil insertion (such as the Mirena) You might even stay without a therapy until you get problems again. So there are many options and you will find the way which will suit you the best as well. Hope these information is any use to you , and if you want you can mail me at any time to the addy above. ((((HUGS))))) Sybille
