Dear Heather, as I can see no other posting of you I would like to ask you if you are diagnosed with any annormality ? You heavy cramps can have many reasons , e.g a small uterus , cysts, endometrisis ..... and you didn't mension anything alike. The other symptoms you are getting , the hot and clod flushes , the nausea are more than likely "just" side effects of those servere pains you are having and you should be better if you get the pains treated .But you should be seen by an gynea ,to get a diagnosis. Because sometimes it is better to treat the cause of the pains and not just the pains. But get your pains redused for to ease these symptoms , like somebody said before some Ibuprophen, Paracetamol or Aspirin -helps it sometimes as well. But don't forget to talk to your doctor about it and get the referel as well. I wish you good luck and some relieve soon. ((((HUGS)))) Sybille
