Hi Heather,

This used to happen to me before I had my hyst. I would suggest, if you know or feel that your period is about to start, take some Motrin (ibuprofen sp?). Maybe take it a day before your period is due. Check with your doc if you have never taken Motrin before to make sure it is ok for you and see what dose the would suggest.
