Re: Angels,I need your help about Interceed (((Gio)))From: Marlene (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Dec 10 08:00:26 2001
Hi Gio: I had conscious pain mapping in February of this year. The surgeon that did the procedure would not do it unless she could use interceed gel. At the time of the procedure I had a thick band of adhesions across my abdomin and as well as being from my stomach to pubic line. In August I had another laporoscopy, during this procedure she indicated that "no new" adhesions at formed in the old area. She did find more adhesions inside of me but they were in an area that was made available to her by having a stent placed in my urter. So I am fortunate and happy to say that I responded very well to the interceed gel. I have not had any reactions to the gel. I want to add as was previously written here, the skills of the surgeon really make a difference on the formation of adhesions. The surgeon who worked on me is a specialist. I wish you well in your surgery and hope that if you do use interceed you have success with it. Best regards and pain free wishes
