Did I 'jump the gun'From: Laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Oct 31 15:33:38 2001
I was diagnosed with endometriosis and what I believe is uterine didelphys at 18. I have a septum down my vaginal cavity, two cervixs, and a divided uterus (so they believe). Today I went to a RE OBGYN because my husband and I plan to try and conceive in the next month. I was seen by a specialist at 18 who told me that before I try to have a baby, consult a specialist. Well, today I went. He acted confused as to why I was there. I am obvioulsy not experiencing infertility yet, we are not trying! I just want someone to, one, update myself and my husband on what is happening. It has been five years since I have had any tests, and alot can change. I also want to select a doctor to monitor me because I am a higher risk pregnancy. I just feel stupid for going now. I felt that I had to justify why I was there. Should I have gone to a RE OBGYN?
