Hello, forgive me if I've already sent you an e-mail. I'm getting lost
on the web :) I have been diagnosed with extensive endo (which I already
knew) and my doctor has recommended a hysterectomy. I would also like
to be able to go to Dr. Redwine or find an endo expert here in
Sacramento ( I live in Folsom ). Were you ever able to find a great
doctor or did you go to Dr. Redwine? Thank you for your time.

It's very similar to removal of an iv. All they'll do is take out the tube that's holding the trachea open so he is able to breathe. (They won't do this if there is not an adequate airway.) Anyway, from there they will bandage the hole and within five hours it will begin to close up all on it's own. Within five days it's supposed to be fully closed. There is a chance that it won't close over entirely and that would be due to scar tissue being too thick. Hopefully that won't be the case with Bob as it would mean a permanent tracheotomy. Will definitely let all of you know how it goes on Tuesday. Hope you and Brian have a very Happy New Year's. Take care--love you,

> We went to my parents on Christmas eve and returned yesterday evening. By the time we got home I had a migraine and wasn't enjoying myself one bit. These darned migraines are back and I totally believe they are due to the estrogen replacement. I wish my primary care doc would let me go off the estrogen but he's very concerned about my bone loss and doesn't want to resort to fossimax this soon. Oh well, what's a person to do. The migraine left by the time I woke up this morning but it left me feeling very lethargic from my meds.
> Pelvic pain has been tolerable with my new pain medication. Will have to locate a new gyn and get on with some treatment that will help. If I can't locate a new one here in Sacramento I will very likely consider going to Dr. Redwine up in Oregon. Hopefully I can locate a doc closer to home as I know my insurance won't cover Dr. Redwine.
> Bob is doing better and hopefully will have the tracheotomy removed this coming Tuesday. His ears, nose, throat (ENT) surgeon called on Friday and wants to see him on Tuesday. He wants the tracheotomy removed before scar tissue makes it so it can never be removed. Will let you know how that goes once we get back from the docs on Tuesday evening.
