I went thru Lupron injections about 10 years ago. I experienced massive mood swings, and also hot flashes. Also was when I began having migraines (maybe coincidental?)

The point behind Lupron is supposed to be a fertility treatment, when you wish to get preg and have Endo, you go thru surgery, then Lupron, and your best chance of getting pregnant for the rest of your life is within that first 6 months after Lupron is over. It was unsuccessful for me, but it did ease a great deal of the endo symptoms for up to a year. It was a nice time. :) It was worth it, and I wish I could do it again!

Lupron convinces your body you are in "the change", so you no longer need the endometrium tissue, so it all dies. Sorta like how the BC pill convinces your body you are PReg, so you have no need for the eggs. Very similar type system.

I found Lupron helpful, because I remember having a nice break from the cramps for about a year maybe more.
