Samantha and all angels, As Kristy said, there's really not enough info to know right now. As far as I know there are no treatments to protect us from this happening. I wanted to thank you for posting this article though, I found it and the links very interesting. One of the things that really got my attention was from the link that was provided for ovarian cancer. It said that they are looking into the possiblity of testing the levels of CA-125 in women, higher levels can indicate ovarian cancer. It has also been reported that women with endo have higher levels of CA-125, or as they called it the "tumor marker". Something else I thought you might find interesting. There has been research about endo and certain diseases. Basically they found that women with endo and their families are more likely to have immune diseases than the general population, also an increased risk in ovarian cancer and breast cancer. This concerns me as well. My aunt had a hysterectomy I would say over a decade ago for endometriosis. Five years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was in remission for a while, and then a few months ago she passed away from the cancer. She has been the only one in my family to have breast cancer. This raises a fair amount of concern for me. I don't want to scare you, just wanted to let you know of some of the studies that have been done, and this just proves that more research needs to be done. Sorry for going on and on and on. :) Take care and God Bless. Love and Prayers, Amanda
