Re: Symptoms of Endo?From: Amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Oct 19 19:50:22 2001
Theresa, Hiya! As for the other symptoms you describe, the leg pain, nausea, and lightheadedness I haven't really had related to my cycle. I do have these symptoms almost all the time, the endo pain is constant also. All of the tests that you talk about usually do come back normal with endo patients. The only way to find out for sure is to get a lap. As for the muscle aches and pains, I've been dealing with this for the last 2 years, been worse over the past year or so though. My dr has run all kinds of blood tests and nothing has come back. There is a relation to endo and other immune diseases. You may want to look up some info on SLE (lupus) or fibromyglasia, or it could just be from the endo. My dr is trying to get me into a Pain Management Clinic for all the pain that I have. I'm 22 and have severe joint and muscle pain. My dr was convinced that I had Lupus until my blood tests came back normal. Also you may want to check on Reiter's Syndrome, it's not very common, but worth a look. I know that I am going to be tested for it because my aunt was recently diagnosed with it, which is kinda scary because she also has endo. I hope I've helped ya a little hon. If ya need anything, feel free to write me at any time. Take care. love and Prayers, Amanda
