I want to thank the anonymous poster for offering her adivce on my situation. In regard to being on the pill as a treatment for endometriosis, is it typically taken the way I am going to be taking it--that is continuously, taking a real pill everyday without coming off of it? My Dr. says that witin three months my periods will stop. I'm trying to find someone who has tried this method and to learn more about it but I don't know where to turn. I have read previous posts and have been surprised to learn that having a hysterctomy is not a cure for endometriosis. My Dr. specifically said that a total hysterectomy is the only CURE for endo. I'm glad I've looked into this further to find out otherwise. Also, has anyone else had a DR. who didn't want to have laparoscopy repeated? I don't have a problem with taking the pill and every four years or so having a laporoscopy. Also, if anyone knows of a Dr. who specializes in endo in new york, kindly email me at Serosha@aol.com Thanks so much. I'm so glad I found you guys!
