Re: Can any help?From: anonymous@obgyn.netSat Oct 13 10:59:28 2001
Dear Louise, Your welcome. I believe you feel strange with being on hormon therapy for so long.(Believe me the time will fly! I have it now for 12 years, and I often can hardly believe the time went that fast) But as far as I have experiance with endo , it is the best way these days to treat endo. The moodswings you're having are very common , with or without hormon therapy. If you like you can read up the sites about other treatment forms - like alternatives:e.g To change your diet what siuts for you and you might get some better dealing for your body out of it. If you have just the moodswings as the side effects of Provera (I'm taking it myself), I wouldn't stop it , because this is actually one of the "Softest" Hormonal Treatments available for endo. If you want I can look up a few sites for you, that you get better informed about your desease , so you will have much more confidense, what will suit you the best. And to be honest your doc gave you propper advice - so if you can talk to him openly as well; your family, your doc and yourself will definetly find the best way to deal with endo. Head up, you will manage!!! When you want to ask me privetly you're welcom to mail me at :lonlich1@eircom.net And even when you just feel bad at the moment , we are always there for you.
