Hi Olivia, in the last 10 years I have had 7 laps and 7 d&c's for pain and heavy bleeding. None of them helped for very long at all, max 18 months. I have done the BCP thing, as well as the hormone thing, I will not be doing that again either. I have three children already, but would perhaps like another, Doctors are recomending a hyst. I can reallt relate to family, friends not understanding. You've got to walk the walk to be able to talk the talk. Anyway, I get tired of trying to explain what endo is all the time. ( I wrote and printed a leaflet that I give to everybody who asks me now.LOL) Please read my reply to 'endo pain after total hyst (long reply) and you will see how I am fighting back now. We are all here for you anytime, you won't find a more caring group of women anywhere. (((ANGEL HUGS))) LAUREN
